Lots of changes

It's been a year...

We moved out to Battle Ground, WA.  It's about 30 minutes North of Vancouver.  We live on 4 acres with a river in the behind our backyard.  We love it!  It's quiet and we can have parties and huge bonfires without disturbing neighbors.

The kids are liking their new school and both have made new friends.  Trinity is in 2nd grade this year.  She is doing great.  She still loves reading and math.  Nicholas is in 1st grade.  His teacher says he is ahead of most of the kids in his class because last year he was in full day Kindergarten.  Most of the kids in his class were in half day.

Another exciting change for us is that we are expecting a baby girl April 1st.  We picked out the name Fiona Evon for her.  The kids are excited to have a baby sister.  We are trying to keep both kids as involved as they want to be.  Trinity is more involved and wanting to feel the baby move and know about how big she is and how much longer it will be until she gets here.  Nicholas tells me I need to eat healthy and tells me not to drink too much soda, coffee and juice.  When I brought the carseat home that my sister Emily bought Nicholas had to checked out how the straps worked and how it locked into the base.  I think both kids might be a little jealous for different reasons when Fiona gets here but we will see.

Dominick is working for a company in Vancouver mainly in shipping and receiving.  It's a Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm job.  We like this schedule so much better than when he was working swing shift.  I felt like a single parent because Dominick was almost never home when the kids were home.

I am back to being a stay at home mom.  I worked for the first few months of my pregnancy.  It was not fun at all.  I was so sick and was not able to work as hard as I would have liked.  Then by the time I got home I just wanted to sleep.  I think the kids suffered a little bit and I felt bad but I think they understood.  I am feeling much better most of the time now.
